ZooMumba is a 2D Isometric Browser-Based MMO that incorporates many of the building elements of the MMORTS genre, such as the construction and maintenance of your zoo and staff, with a Tamagotchi-esque style of gameplay that will see you collect baby animals from all across the world, and care for them as they grow into full-seized attractions for your zoo.

The core element of ZooMumba is certainly the animals; managing your zoo is a large factor, but choosing the right animals, ensuring that they’re the right sex, breeding them and caring for the babies is definitely central. And happily so, too; watching and helping a new baby animal grow into a full adult, then have babies of its own is as much fun as it always has been, and likely always will.

Feeding them is another central element of ZooMumba; feed them the wrong food and they’ll begin to cry, alerting you that they are no longer happy. Unhappy animals make for bad attractions, and will cause visitors to leave your zoo; be sure to find out what your animals like to eat and feed them accordingly.

Where do you get your food? The shop, of course! The ZooMumba shop is packed full of everything your zoo needs, and can be easily accessed at any time. You can even buy new buildings for you zoo from the shop (don’t worry, we didn’t get it either); and while this may appear strange (because, well... it is), it does make things much easier, certainly in the beginning stages of the game, making it a great feature for new players.

So, by now, you’ve finally got visitors at your zoo. They’re looking at your animals, visiting your attractions... and littering! Bastards. Now you have to clean it up; make sure you do, a messy zoo is an unhappy zoo... and you already know the rest.

And in a nutshell, that’s ZooMumba! It’s a unique combination of an MMORTS and a Tamagotchi, and as it can be played through your browser, it doesn’t require a download. In other words, you can be playing in minutes.
